　　I always wanted to raise a pet, but my mother refused because I even couldn’t look after myself well. But recently, my mother changed her attitude, she bought me a lovely cat as my birthday gift. I was very happy and promised to keep it well. Since raising this lovely creature, I became patient. When I bathed her, she struggled and tried to run away, then I had to grab it back. The most important thing was to feed food on time and clean the place that the cat lived. Sometimes I felt so dirty to do it, but I had made my promise and couldn’t break my words. I learned a lot from raising a pet. I started to consider my mother’s feelings when I became naughty. I needed to make some changes and be a better girl.

　　我一直想养一只宠物，但是我妈妈一直都在拒绝我，因为她觉得我连自己都照顾不好。但最近，我妈妈改变了她的态度，她给我买了一只可爱的猫作为我的生日礼物。我很高兴，承诺要好好的养护。自从养了这个可爱的生物之后，我变得有耐心。我给她洗澡时，她会挣扎，试图逃跑，我不得不把它抓回来。最重要的是要按时给它喂食物，还有把它住的地方弄干净。有时我觉得很脏，但是既然我做出了承诺，就不能食言。养宠物让我学到了很多，我开始体会到我调皮时妈妈的感受了。我需要做出一些改变，成为更好的女孩。

　　My Puppy 我的小狗

　　I have a one-year-old dog. It is called "No-No". Last year, my father gave it to me as my birthday gift.

　　我有一只一岁大的小狗，它的名字是“诺诺”。它是我爸爸去年送给我的生日礼物。

　　No-No is small and lovely. It has a pair of black eyes and a pair of dropping ears.

　　诺诺很小，也很可爱。它有一双黑眼睛和一对耷拉着的耳朵。

　　Also, it is fluffy and its hair is white and soft. When you touch it, you will feel it very smooth.

　　当然了，它浑身都是毛茸茸的。它的毛是白色的，很柔软。你摸它的时候会感觉很光滑。

　　No-No is not quiet. It is very playful and lively. It likes playing with a ball very much. It always runs around me when I play ball games.

　　诺诺不安静。它非常爱玩，也很活跃。它非常喜欢玩球。每次我玩球的时候它都围着我跑来跑去。

　　I like No-No because it is more intelligent than other dogs. It knows a lot of tricks. For example, it can sit, beg and roll over.

　　我喜欢诺诺，因为它比其它狗都聪明。它懂得很多把戏。比如：坐下、用后腿站立，举起前腿以及翻滚。
